News concerning the new AltamontFire Company and Community Center...
Construction of the new building has been delayed for over 6 months due to zoning requirements.  The Altamont Fire Company is trying to let everyone know why the project has been delayed for so long.  As soon as the West Mahanoy Twp. Zoning board accepts the plans the Altamont Fire Company will put the project out to bid.  Hopefully, construction will begin immediately after.

The Altamont Fire Company has put a newsletter to this affect out to our neighbors. In the mean time, click the picture to the right to see just what the new building will look like!
