Saturday May 11, 2002, the Memorial Park Played Host for the First Annual Funfest. A great time was had by all!
Folks that stopped by received a grab bag full of goodies and got to the kids got to test out the new playground
equipment recently installed in the park.
Even the Dare Lion stopped by to enjoy the fun. Hot Dogs, Baked Goods, Guers Drinks were all for sale. Face Painting
Ring Tosses and Inflatable Kids Rides were available, with the proceeds going towards the efforts of the
Park Restoration Committee.
